uPacjenta is one of the fastest-growing Polish medtech startups offering a marketplace where patients order blood tests to their house. We’re excited to launch new projects, but to truly succeed, we need one more hand on board. Hence, we are looking for a VP of Engineering with strong tech skills for system architecture management and planning, who can figure out HOW to build and maintain highly motivated, empowered Dev teams that effectively deliver value for customers and business. The ideal candidate is a natural leader and has knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
As VPoE you’ll manage the engineering part of the uPacjenta Product team supporting our folks both strategically and tactically in solving hard problems like:
- optimizing, scheduling and routing for a fleet of mobile clinicians at national scale;
- tracking and managing a bevy of medical supplies and health data over time;
- designing systems that ensure our clinicians are kept safe at all times;
- preparing our infrastructure for international scaling;
- integrating with lab and insurance operators in different countries;
- ensuring an appropriate level of data security;
- creating automated health reports based on data;
- and more …
VPoE role is not only about technical challenges like organizing and executing security audits and making sure our system architecture is properly structured and secure. It also requires a leadership mindset to encourage teamwork and its organization. As a VP of Engineering, you ensure team members have clear common goals, and share the same values. Moreover, you will be responsible for good communication flow between those teams, whose input is necessary for a great code development.
