Operations manager

uPacjenta is one of the fastest-growing Polish medtech startups offering a marketplace where patients order blood tests to their house. We aim to facilitate proactive healthcare by enabling at-home blood tests in an uber-like formula. So far, by heading in the direction: HEALTH, we grew by 3x! Our mission is to transform preventive healthcare to extend people’s lifespan. The mission is supported by top investors, thanks to which we have recently closed the last seed round and gained over 21 millions PLN for expansion to Europe.

We’re excited to launch new projects, but to truly succeed, we need one more hand on board. Hence, we are looking for an Operations Manager – a person who likes new challenges, feels well in quickly developing environments and can stay calm and organized in a fast-paced startup world where you can build and run new stuff everyday.

As an Operations Manager you will have a chance to consolidate uPacjenta actions to build a strong medical staff community strategies (nurses, paramedics) that cooperates with the hottest health tech startup in Poland. You will be responsible for acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention and manage the medical staff capacity in marketplace environment. 

You’ll get to work closely with the Head of Operations to gain more medical experience as well as with the Head of People & Culture and VP of Operations to get a labor market and business needs overview and insights.

• analysis and interpretation of medical job market data, preparing short- and long-term forecasts and reports, planning hiring strategy based on data
• building the medical staff acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention strategies (medical staff lifecycle)
• owning KPIs for medical staff growth and retention
• building a medical staff community 
• building weekly and monthly reports and iterating the processes base on the results
• executing tactics to increase number of available appointment slots for uPacjenta users

• 2 years of experience in project management / operations management experience preferably from an scale-up environment in online/offline tech business 
• experience working with multiple departments or in a fast growing start-up
• data driven decision making
• English C1

• great written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
